Successful Delivery of a Commercial & Industrial Energy Storage Project in Ukraine

Recently, our company successfully delivered and grid-connected a commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage project in Ukraine. The project is designed to enable participation in the local electricity market through an energy storage system, helping the customer optimize energy costs. In response to challenges related to compliance-based 400V grid interconnection and the high-safety integration of a 3 MWh energy storage system, our engineering team adopted an integrated design approach, treating the grid interconnection system and the energy storage system as a unified solution. We provided a one-stop service covering system design through project delivery, ensuring safe and reliable operation.

Core Technologies Ensuring Long-Term Value

The successful implementation of the project is driven by three key technologies tailored to the customer’s specific requirements:

1. Customized Grid Interconnection Design for Operational Stability

The 400V transformer and grid interconnection solution provided by our company is designed to support bidirectional power flow, offering a stable and compliant grid interface for frequent charge and discharge cycles of the energy storage system.

2.Wide-Voltage-Range PCS for Future Upgrade Flexibility

The project adopts an energy storage power conversion system (PCS) with a wide DC voltage operating range. This design significantly enhances compatibility with future battery technologies, effectively protecting the customer’s long-term investment value.

3. Cluster-Level Independent Management Architecture for Enhanced Safety and Efficiency

For the 3 MWh energy storage cabinet, an advanced cluster-level independently managed BMS architecture is implemented. This solution enables precise monitoring, rapid fault isolation, and efficient energy balancing, improving overall system safety while maximizing usable battery capacity and extending battery service life, thereby supporting long-term economic operation of the project.
